Tim Banks is the Franchise Owner and CEO of Royal LePage APM Commercial.  He is a Certified Engineering Technologist with 30 years of experience in all aspects of real estate development, property management, leasing and construction.  Tim’s strength has been in creating and developing a number of multi-faceted companies involved in construction, real estate and retail development in Eastern Canada.  He is well known in the Island community not only as a business leader, but also for his commitment to creating opportunities for future business growth.

Tim has been the lead negotiator of thousands of leases across Canada on behalf of a wide range of both tenants and landlords in all industry sectors.  He is extensively familiar with leasing laws and property regulatory bodies in all provinces, particularly in Prince Edward Island.  His business network includes some of the most senior real estate professionals from leading commercial and residential companies across Canada, ensuring that he can find the best client for the best property – with no exceptions.

Terry Palmer, MBA, CA

Vice President - Finance

Terry is Vice President of Finance for APM and is responsible for the financial administrations of the company. Terry joined APM in 1999 after being APM’s external accountant since 1991. Terry’s day-to-day responsibilities include all aspects of reporting, banking relations, group financing as well as financial assessments of new projects.Terry is also APM’s real estate analyst with ten (10) years experience in analysis of property financial and operating statements, preparation of Proforma real estate valuation models for both commercial and multi-residential projects up to $12 million using current market information and leasing trends and design of financing and leasing solutions for potential tenants.

During his time at APM Terry has designed hundreds of Proforma valuation models and assisted the company in raising over $50 million in real estate financing.Terry came to APM with 22 years of experience as a public accountant in various offices in Atlantic Canada, including his own partnership Palmer & Shea Chartered Accountants.

Jerry LeBlanc


Jerry LeBlanc is the Broker for Royal LePage APM Commercial. Jerry’s background as a small business owner for ten (10) years with deep roots in the community provide him with a great network of business contacts for commercial and multi-residential real estate transactions.

Jerry has been with APM in the capacity of business development, responsible for commercial client relationships, real estate sales, leasing and construction. Jerry’s strength is his communication skills and ability to develop relationships with people. He is a keen listener and knows the right questions to ask in order to tailor the right commercial real estate solution for the client.

Brian Gillis

Consultant Associate

The partnership of Brian Gillis and Tim Banks will be forever remembered for their real estate and development role in the ‘grocery wars’ that raged in Atlantic Canada in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s when Loblaw made a significant push into traditional Sobey’s territory.  This formidable team with their contrasting styles; Brian – the cool, calm and design creative and Tim – the energetic, driven and construction focused, helped drive Loblaw expansion plans on the ground with fresh, new stores in key locations throughout the region.

Brian Gillis is the Sales Associate of Royal LePage APM Commercial and has been involved in the real estate industry for over 40 years, spanning careers as a practicing architect for 20 years and client focused work as VP Business Development and VP Real Estate with APM and its multi-faceted businesses. This broad career has given Brian a wealth of knowledge in the commercial marketplace, working for local business, municipal, provincial and federal governments, the financial industry, national retail accounts and major corporations.

Brian’s confident understanding of the complex environment that controls and shapes real estate solutions from site selection & analysis, land assembly, zoning / rezoning, conceptual visioning, tenant recruitment, property disposition and creative marketing techniques combined with the tremendous Royal LePage network are all available to be leveraged for clients.

Heather Joudrie

Sales · Leasing · Property Management

Heather Joudrie is the Sales · Leasing · Property Manager at Royal LePage APM Commercial and her responsibilities include sales, leasing, managing and marketing.

Heather has secured and managed hundreds of leases all over Canada.  She is responsible for leasing, managing and marketing APM’s various commercial and multi-residential property holdings throughout Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.  Her background in accounting and financial reporting for over twenty years, combined with the last eight as General Manager of APM’s property portfolio, provides her with a solid administrative and management basis to evaluate property performance and maximize property investment returns.  In addition to this, Heather has her Prince Edward Island Realtor License Certification.

With over seven years of experience matching properties with people, Heather very much enjoys working with all kinds of different people.  She is an expert in finding the right fit-up for any unit, insuring a long term and mutually beneficial relationship between the lessor and lessee.

Heather makes a regular contribution to the cultural fabric of PEI through her membership in the Belfast Pipe and Drum Band and can be seen (and heard!) at various festivals and events across the Maritimes.

Cain Arsenault

Architectural Technologist

Design and visual imagery is fundamental to the marketing of real estate.

As an Architectural Technologist with close to 20 years experience, Cain has built a solid reputation in the property development industry with creative and modern building designs that stand out above the crowd.  Cain’s speciality is site planning, creative concept development and a solid understanding of turning ideas into successful construction projects.

Bringing to Royal LePage APM Commercial proficient AutoCAD capabilities as well as expertise with building design, planning and construction, Cain also specializes in explaining to clients, in simple terms, what is involved with efficiently marketing their property or making the best and most efficient investment in a real estate deal.  Cain takes pride in working to satisfy clients’ needs when it comes to layout, scale and design of their new environment.


Neila Roberts

Corporate Accountant

Neila Roberts joined APM 11 years ago as an accounting technician and has steadily earned ever increasing construction, manufacturing and retail accounting responsibilities since then.  Neila is currently working toward her Accounting Diploma at the University of Prince Edward Island.  She handles, very capably, all accounting and financial report responsibilities for all Royal LePage APM Commercial real estate and property management transactions.  We are excited, as she is, to have her talent and expertise on board!

As the Corporate Accountant for Royal LePage APM Commercial, her role is to ensure all real estate transactions are properly recorded and reported.  Neila will also provide valuable input into RLPC’s strategic planning as the company continues to grow and evolve.  With over 19 years retail accounting experience in addition to 11 years in the construction and manufacturing industries, Neila brings to the team a strong overall perspective to accounting and the intricacies involved in leasing, sales and management of commercial real estate.
